This is a design originating from the commission for the new Opera House in Helsinki. Simplicity, comfort, elegance was totally the elements of Scandinavia's design culture. It should have a strong character, almost a mathematical shape, the ergonomical qualities of the Funktus series have been studied with the help of different testing models, the construction, function and the aesthetical form language developed itself almost automatically.
